Nk'Mip RV Park (day 4)

Wednesday November 21...10:30pm

Temperature was -7 when we got up this morning. A little chilly! We thought this was supposed to be the desert? Turns out we're just getting an abnormal cold spell. In fact, the record cold for today was -10, so it wasn't that far off. C'mon global warming! Oh well...it was still nice and sunny, and hardly any wind, so we went for a bike ride.

The town of Osoyoos is built around Osoyoos Lake, which is almost two lakes, with a bridge breaking it up. So it's great for biking because there's always a nice view of a lake, and you can get so many different views. There's also Hayes Point Provincial Park which is pretty much right in town. It's said to be the busiest Provincial Park for camping, but that's likely because there's only about 28 camping spots. The point goes right out to the middle of the lake.  It's kind of neat actually. A little cold, but we still managed to do almost 15 km's on the bikes.
