Went for a swim this morning and planned on having a shower afterwards...until we found out the showers are $1 for 5 minutes and we didn`t bring money with us! So we went back to Sherman, and Ruth was going to use the shower tub to wash her
hair. This was the first time we tried using the shower in the motorhome, and we couldn`t figure out how to get the water to come out the shower head! Turns out it was just a sticky valve because it hadn`t been used for a while...now that we`ve turned it on and off a few times it works fine. I even had a quick shower in there today. It`s not bad once you get the water the right temperature.

After lunch we got the bikes down and I cleaned them up a bit. They were pretty dirty after sitting on the back of Sherman all the way out here. So I oiled up the chains and made sure everything was working fine. We rode the bikes into town (about 3.5 km`s each way) and picked up a few groceries.

We`ve pretty much figured out that I`m going to fly to Manzanillo Mexico on December 4th for a week while Ruth and her brother Colin drive down in Sherman. Found an all-inclusive special for $488 plus taxes. By the time I pay the single supplement and add in the taxes it`s about $800. It would be slightly cheaper to fly direct to Mexico City and then connect back to Tijuana, but then I`d have to buy meals and find somewhere to stay for a week while waiting for them to show up. This way I`m also going to have to find my own way from Manzanillo up to Tijuana, but there are a lot of smaller local flights that are fairly inexpensive, so I`ll likely do it that way.
