La Bufadora (day 2)

Thursday December 13...10:30pm

Another nice sunny day today. Gets a little chilly at night though...we figure it went down to around 10 degrees. Back up to about 22 around lunch hour, and then it starts cooling off fairly quickly during the afternoon. Still, it was
easily nice enough to be able to lie out and get some sun. Decided to just hang around here for the day, and paid another $5 camping fee. There was a cruise ship parked up in Ensenada today, and so the bus comes here to La Bufadora for the cruise ship passengers to do some tourist shopping and see the "blow hole" here. Most of the shop keepers only open up when there's a cruise ship around. They harass you a little, but in a friendly sort of way. Like the guy selling cigars and stuff...when we told him we don't smoke, he said "that's okay, I can teach you...", and the shop whose sign says "we cheat you less than anyone else...". Kinda funny.

This beats work anyday!

We went over to Steve and Glen's for lunch...she made a nice spicy pasta meal with some garlic bread and a glass of wine and some fruit salad for dessert. No driving today, so just relaxing. After lunch, I cleaned all of Sherman's exterior windows and took apart the side door handle to fix a little sticking problem it was having. Also lubricated the brakes on the bicycles. Just puttering around. Ruth spent some time updating this trip journal with her and Colin's drive down to Tijuana. If you read back to December 7th you can get her updates.

Had a little late afternoon nap, and then went for a walk to catch the sunset, which was really nice, but the pictures didn't do it justice, so I deleted them. After supper, we played cards...Steve and Glen taught us how to play Canasta...Ruth picked it up pretty well, but I made a few stupid mistakes..must have had too much sun today...

Up early tomorrow morning...we're going to drive an hour or two further south for some new scenery.
