Got up at 7am and had a quick breakfast. Ruth made us some sandwiches for lunch while I took Whiskey for a walk.
At 9am we walked over to meet up with John and his wife, but she decided to stay behind. So another lady Cory decided to fill the empty spot. In all, there were eight 4x4's full of people going on this drive. It was a lot of fun, and we went on some pretty rough roads. In fact some areas would not have been passable without the 4 wheel drive. All of this was to get to a little village where they make pottery that gets sold at roadside stalls by the main highway. When we were at the little town, we also stopped by the graveyard. Interesting different customs here...they almost spend more money on a dead relative than they do on a live one! They build little houses for each grave and some of them are pretty ornate. Then, they fill them with these tacky fake flowers.
