Juncalito Beach (day 2)

Thursday January 3...9:30pm

What a beautiful day today! The wind has pretty much disappeared, and the temperature was about 26 today. Probably our best day yet. Even had our awnings out for some shade for the first time.

We met our neighbour on one side. Herb has been here for a few weeks and he's staying until the end of February. His wife has gone back to Edmonton area over Christmas because another grandchild was born. She's not coming back until this Sunday, so Herb's been on his own since before Christmas. We decided to do an afternoon barbeque and invited Herb to join us. Herb was going out fishing this morning, so he said that rather than throw them back, he'd bring some fish for the barbeque. Sure enough, he showed up with a few nice size sea bass. They were delicious!

I puttered around with Sherman for a bit. Removed the right front wheel opening flare and cleaned the bad caulking job somebody had previously done. Looks much better! Will do the other side tomorrow.

Lots of places to walk around here. Went half way around the back of the bay and could see another section we wanted to get to, but we had left too late so will go back there tomorrow.
