The pelicans wake us up in the morning as the sun rises about 7:15am. We're parked pretty close to the water, and as it gets light out, the pelicans can start to see the schools of small fish close to the beach. They feed on
these fish, and as they fly low close to the water they can see the fish...and when they do, they dive bomb themselves into the water kamikaze style....and scoop up a fish in the process. They do this constantly almost all day. It's quite something to watch.

Dive bombing for fish
Another nice day. A person could get used to this kind of weather!
Ruth and Steve went snorkelling today. We had bought a cheap mask a couple of weeks ago in case we were ever around an area that might have good snorkelling. At the end of the bay there's a rocky area that looked like it would be good for watching sea life. They said they did see a few interesting things, but it will take over 30 degrees to get me in the water to see the stuff.
Finished reading The Da Vinci Code today. I don't think I've read a book that quickly for a long time. It was good though...I can see why it was so popular.
Went for a hike over towards the next bay and had a quick look over the hill . Looks like there is more interesting scenery coming our way tomorrow. We are heading south about another 160 km's or so to Ciudad Constitution which is a small city of about 40,000 people. Apparently they have a brand new full grocery store there and will have every other amenity we will need to get us stocked up for the next few weeks. We've been carrying around the tire that had gone flat while Ruth and her brother Colin were driving down, and it's just an easy plug job to get it fixed. So will get that fixed and reinstalled on the left front so that the tires will be matching once again. The odd one can go back into the storage bay to keep as a spare.
