Had Steve, Glen, Malcolm, and Claire over for a pancake breakfast this morning. Malcolm and Claire had never tried real maple syrup before, so this was a good treat for them. It was fun having 6 people in the motorhome for a meal.
Everyone over for breakfast
Spent most of the day reading and watching the kite boarders do their thing on the water. It looks like a lot of fun. We did manage to bump into Jack and Margarite, who we had spent New Years Eve with at Santispac Beach. They are taking kiteboarding lessons and staying at the RV park which is right next to the free beach that we're on. Anyhow, it does look like fun, but it's very expensive. Including all the gear, it costs $400 each for four 2 hour lessons. I guess we won't be doing any kite boarding!
The view from the roof of the motorhome. Notice all the kiteboarders
We were invited to join Randy and Wendy and Randy and Marilyn who were going to take everyone into town for Hamburgesa's. These are the couples from Washington that we've all become friends with. We really love the food at these little hamburger stands. Besides the hamburgers (which are the best I've ever had) they also do "super buritto's" and "tora's" which are like BBQ beef on a bun with all the fixings. A "super burrito" is a very filling meal which costs all of three dollars. We will be going back there for more before we leave here!
