Back at Tecolote

Monday February 4…10:00pm

Left the beach at Los Barriles around 9:00am. Glen and Steve had left earlier, so we went to our meeting place at the edge of town so that we could fill up with water and do a quick load of laundry. And so we filled up with
water, but the laundromat was closed when we got there. It turned out that the laundry opened just as we were about to leave, so decided to stay and get that done.

By the time we got out of there, it was getting close to noon, and this was going to put pressure on getting to the ferry office before it closed at 3pm. No worries, because we don’t need to reserve that much in advance. Anyhow, it was a fairly uneventful drive to La Paz, and we made it to the ferry port just before 3pm. The office was closed as we expected, and so we are now once again parked up at Tecolote Beach. We enjoyed all the walking areas when we were here a couple of weeks ago, so are quite happy to be back here for a few more days. We’ll make it back to the ferry port one morning over the next couple of days in order to book our passage to Mazatlan around the 9th of February.

Malcolm and Claire made supper for everyone and then we played cards in the evening.
