Quiet day today…got ourselves back up to Fort Lauderdale and parked in our free spot near the beach. Spent an hour or so in the sun, and then walked down the main drag to have a closer look at how the rich people live.

Looked into renting a car for the weekend to enable us getting around a bit while Alex is here, but the best I could come across with it still being March Break was $40 a day, so we’ll make do with the motorhome.
Also, learned that our cell phone usage has been costing us MUCH more that we thought it was. I had been under the impression that if you bought a long distance calling card that all you paid on your cell phone was the minute useage based on whatever plan you had. WRONG! You still pay roaming fees at $0.95 a minute…plus long distance fees that I am disputing. Actually spoke to a really nice lady in customer service who is going to help us out and possibly get some of our $200 bill from last month reversed. And so our cell phone is turned OFF until we get back to Ottawa. So if anybody wants to talk to us, send us an email….or sign up to Skype.com where you can talk for free so long as you have a decent connection.
