Woke up to the birds singing and the dogs barking. No wind this morning, and the sun was shining, so being a Sunday it’s going to be busy on the beach. Katherine had gone surfing early this morning, and so we walked with Whiskey
over to the beach to watch her. Too many surfers though, and we didn’t bring the binoculars, so it was tough trying to pick her out of the crowd. Sat and watched for a half hour or so, and then continued walking down the beach to the Folly Beach Pier. Lots of people with dogs on the beach, and didn’t see anybody abusing the rules. Walked back through town and on the side streets back to Katherine’s place.
Went for a bike ride after lunch down to the other side of the island. There’s a county park there, and we had a cheap ice cream at the refreshment stand. Only $1.50 each. Beach was busy.
Busy day at Folly Beach
and in the other direction...
Katherine had tickets for a Joan Baez concert and the other person cancelled, so Ruth went with her this evening to enjoy the show. I stayed behind for a quiet evening with Whiskey. The dog, I mean.
