It was cloudy again when we woke up. Our couchsurfing friends who we had stayed with in Antigonish a week ago had read this journal and noticed we were back in the area and sent an email inviting us back for another night. We had
planned on doing the driving route north of here up through Cape George, but we didn’t want to do it on a cloudy day, so we were happy to go back and visit with Charlie and Ronny and family for another night. Ruth did another big grocery shop, while I updated things on the internet. By the time we got to their place it was just before noon, and it had cleared up and was actually turning into a nice day.

Our couchsurfing friends, Charlie, Tessa, Eli, Jesse and Jamie ten Brinkes (Ronnie was at work)
We took Whiskey for a walk with their youngest son Jamie. At around 5 years old, he’s a good little walker and didn’t slow us down at all. I had a nap in the afternoon, while Ruth was reading her Anne of Green Gables book…I guess in preparation for our stay near Cavendish PEI which will begin later next week. We had a nice spaghetti dinner with the family, and we met Eri, the Japanese exchange student that they have been hosting since last fall. We spent the evening showing pictures of our travels to Mexico.
