Monday June 30…11:00pm
Well we missed a day there somewhere. Actually, we didn’t do anything spectacular yesterday, and it poured with rain all day, so we mostly stayed inside and watched “Friends” and read our books. It was still spitting a bit when we had to go do the wagon ride. But still, a few people showed up so we did it anyhow.
It was Lindsey’s day off today, so she borrowed a car and came to visit. She’ll spend the night with us, and then go back to Dalvay tomorrow morning. It’s only about 30 km’s away. It was also our day off. We get to rest and relax on Mondays to gear up for our stressful week on the job! We got our final schedule…we do the wagon ride a couple of times a week, we do the garbage run once a week, I help at the security desk 2 evenings a week, and Ruth helps at the ice cream counter once a week. All total, about 18 hours per week between the two of us.
