So on Tuesday, we wandered around the Kensington Market area and went to the Red Lobster for supper. Then it was off to the Blue Jays game. We had fun in the $9 seats up in the nosebleed section, and
took the cheap seats because the next price increase went straight to $29 and we couldn’t justify the extra money. Jays lost 3-1, but we had a good night anyhow.

On Wednesday, Ruth and I walked down to Wellesley Street where my grandmother lived when I was a child. We used to visit her about once a year, and I have fond memories of those trips. Someone has purchased the old house (built in the 1920’s, I think) and has torn down most of the structure, leaving only the brick front façade while they build a new house onto it. Took a few pics of it, and then walked down to St. James cemetery to visit my grandparents grave marker. None of the family has visited since my grandmother passed away in 1995, so we cleaned up the marker and took a couple of photos of it as well.

This weekend we’re heading down to Plattsburgh NY to visit with Alex, and hopefully watch his baseball team play provided the weather holds out.
