Dundas, Ontario (day 2)

Monday October 20…10:00pm

Woke up at 7:30am. We are parked in the far corner of a church parking lot and one side faces the forest so when we open up the blinds on that side it feels like we are in a nice wooded campsite.

Ruth went with her sister to the racetrack where she works and spent the morning with her. I stayed behind with Whiskey and Sherman. A couple of cars showed up at the church, so I went inside and ended up speaking with the pastor about us having our motorhome parked in their lot. He said we were more than welcome to stay there and gave me his card so that if anybody bothered us we could produce it and say that we had permission.

I spent an hour this afternoon cleaning up Lesley’s computer to make it run a little faster. There are still quite a few bugs in it, so I’ll spend some more time on it tomorrow.

I drove Sherman over to a nearby town to get some propane. Didn’t fill it up all the way because it’ll be cheaper when we get into the States later this week. I also put in just enough fuel at .99CAN per litre (about $3.40 US per gallon) to get us into Michigan because gas is down to $2.59 a gallon (about .78CAN per litre) there.

Total nights sleeping in a motorhome…364

October Fuel $ 86.35

October Grocery $225.28

October Overnight costs $ 0
