We took Whiskey for a nice walk along the malecon this morning.
Our electric steps stopped working, and I traced the problem to a corroded wire. It took some time to find the problem, but once I knew what the problem was, it was easy to fix.
After lunch, we were surprised to be invited to take a drive 13 km’s from here to see some waterfalls. Leo and Judy, and Don and Gwen are motorhomers from British Columbia who we have bumped into at a couple of stops along our way as they are travelling basically the same route we are. They are towing vehicles, so they can do more sightseeing than us, but they were happy to have us come along in their empty back seats. It was fun to get out and see some of the sights in an easy to maneuver vehicle.

When we got back to town, we had been told that the main square was closed to traffic as there was going to be some kind of communion presentation. We couldn’t understand most of what was said, but it was fun to watch it anyhow. It sure seemed like most of the local people showed up for this event.

Everyone gathered for a presentation. We couldn't figure out what it was for!
