Saturday February 7…10:00pm
Relaxed this morning until Angel and his brother Orbi came over around 11am to go for a walk up the hill behind the orphanage.
Another youngster, Miguel had decided to join us as well. First, the boys led us to their house where they had to tell the house parent where they were going. There are three different houses on the property where the boys live, and one very large house where the girls live, as well as various rooms in the main building for the older kids.
The path that the boys took us on didn’t go very far as an actual path, and then we were just climbing the hill with no path. It was pretty rough going in spots, and I don’t really think Whiskey enjoyed it much. So we only made it about 2/3 of the way up, but still enjoyed a beautiful view.

Our internet here has become intermittent. It was off all morning, and I finally found out that there is a bad connection at their router itself. Although I thought I had it fixed for them, it has gone out again this evening. I'll try and get into the office first thing in the morning and fix it up again.
Steve and Glen came over for my birthday dinner. We had steaks on the BBQ with broccoli and mashed potatoes. Afterwards, we played several rounds of euchre. They want to get an early start tomorrow morning because they want to do the drive to the Pacific coast in one day so will be leaving here about 7am. Ruth and I are going to stay here a couple more days.
