Used the shower at Anne and Ed’s house this morning. It’s funny because their bathroom is almost the size of our motorhome!
They recommended we go to the Kentucky Horse Park on our way out of town this morning. It’s along our route anyhow, but we didn’t have time to do a worthwhile visit so we couldn’t justify the $15 US each admission fee at this time. However, we did stop in and see the free stuff on the grounds and admire the statues and information about the great racehorses Secretariat and Man O’ War.
Statue of Secretariat
The racing stride of 3 of the best racehorses . Secretariat is 24 feet and Man O War is 28 feet.

Made it into Ohio today, and planned on stopping at the Chillicothe Walmart for the night. But they didn’t have a great parking lot and it was close to the highway and very busy. So we continued on to Circleville. But that Walmart advertised that there was no overnight parking for RV’s or trucks so we continued to Lancaster. We stopped at a city park and took Whiskey for a walk, and had supper. Then we found the Lancaster Walmart and are set up here for the night.
We have a longer drive on the schedule for tomorrow, about 250 miles (400 kms) but then we will be on the shores of Lake Erie, and then only a short Sunday morning drive to meet up with our sons baseball team in Fredonia NY for their 12:00 noon game.
