Tuesday April 21…11:15pm
When checking email this morning, we found that Alex’s baseball game was cancelled for today due to wet weather. And when checking the weather forecast for Middlebury Vermont, it’s not looking very promising for tomorrows game either.
So we took our time driving through Adirondack park to the Interstate 87 heading north to Plattsburgh. It would have been a really scenic drive if it hadn’t been so wet and drizzly.
Made it to Plattsburgh, and called David and Kathy who are the parents of one of Alex’s teammates. They had volunteered a spot in their driveway where we could park while we’re in town for baseball and to visit with Alex. David met us at the Walmart, and led us to their place. We have a nice level spot, they hooked us up to water and electric, they have wifi, and even a dump site beside their driveway because they used to have an RV themselves! So we’re spoiled with all the extras while we’re here in Plattsburgh!
Alex came over for supper with us, and we showed him some pictures of our travels over the last 6 months.
