Travel to different places

In Canada, most people want to take a vacation south at some point during the winter. The cheapest places to go, from just about anywhere in Canada are Cuba, Mexico, and Dominican Republic. In fact, we have been to all three of these places as warmer destinations to get away from cold Canadian winters.

But other places are staring to get less expensive as well. In 2007, we took a two week vacation to Portugal. There are now quite a few deals out of Montreal and Toronto that include airfare, car, and hotel. When we went, we did airfare only, and rented a cottage in the hills outside of Faro. And, yesterday I spotted a deal from Toronto to San Salvador, El Salvador. And deals to Costa Rica and Honduras are starting to show up as well.
