Back in Canada

Welcome back to the land of high taxes.

Sorry, but when I think of Canada, I think of high taxes and all of the stupid things our government does to waste all that money. Yeah, I know...we have "free" health care. That can be a subject for another day.

Anyhow, we crossed the border at around 4:00pm, after a wait of half an hour or so. It was fairly busy with quite a few snowbirds returning from down south. Had the standard "how much did you buy of what" type of questions, and then he waved us through.

We stopped in at the house that we were house sitting all winter, and said hello to the owners and picked up our little car. We'll go back there on Friday and pick up some of the things we have stored there. Then I filled up the propane tank, and stopped in and said hi to the guys at the RV place where I work. I know, I'm going into work at 8:30am in the morning, but I was driving right by the place anyhow.

And so now we're parked up at the KOA in Kingston Ontario, where we'll be until November 1st. We're the only ones here right now, besides the owner and a few empty RV's that are in storage. But we'll still be posting every day, so check back often...we have a lot to talk about!
