Relaxing

We are relaxing today! Well, not really. Ruth did some laundry, and I washed and polished one side of Sherman. And we did make it out for a walk with Whiskey on an old logging road not far from here.

Then we had some lunch, and now we're at Pete's store and gas bar where he has an internet connection. Maybe when we get back to the lake house, I'll install the new solar panel on Sherman's roof. Or maybe I'll just have a nap...

Well I didn't get the new solar panel installed, and I didn't have a nap either! But I saw some rain in the forecast for the next couple of days, and we had one wiper blade starting to go bad, so I figured I would change it. I had bought a new one quite a while ago, but it didn't have quite the right fitting on it. I got the job done, but it took me over an hour to change one wiper blade!

We had Pete over for supper tonight, and then chatted for a while. Headed for bed fairly early, and we're going to drive into Georgia tomorrow.
