I caught up on some of my internet reading that I got behind on and then took Whiskey out for a nice walk on the K&P Trail just down the road from the campground. Now I am about to go out and finish up on scrubbing the add-a-room panels. I finished the smaller ones yesterday and one of the side panels. Today I have another side panel, the door and the large panel. It will feel good to get them done as we have never cleaned them properly since we started using them and they probably needed to be done when we first got them.
Yesterday Kevin gave his list of maintenance chores but I have a few of my own to add to that. In the fall of 2008 I made new covers for our dinette seats and matching curtains for the living area windows but never got around to recovering the window valances or the panels between the cupboards (I don't like the colour of material on the panels, I want to have something a little more netural). We would also like to change the material on the couch, but that job is too much for me. I think we could find someone in Mexico next winter that could do it for us at a decent price compared to Canada or even the States. We'll wait and see how things go, it isn't important to get it done, it would just be nice too!
You can see the panels I mean as well as the window valance
Looking at it from the other direction
You can see the material coming up in the corner by the clock. there use to be a beige material, looks to be the same material as the driver's and passenger chair. I would like to have that instead but the other material was glued on top so just taking that top material off is out of the question. I will have to remove both materials before replacing it with something more netural. I want to match it up with what ever material I use for the window valance (the part that is a solid color), the other part of the valance I will cover with the same material as the dinette seats and curtians. You can see one curtain, it is a sort of brown colour. I want the contrasting material to be light in colour.
