The team was at Long Island, just outside of New York City today. They won both games again, and their record now stands at 17-1. NCAA rankings came out the other day, and our sons school baseball team has made the top 30 for the first time in school history, coming in at 26th out of over 300 teams nationally.
It is interesting to note that going into the season, expectations were for a very average team. However this team seems to get along very well, and everybody on the team is there for a purpose. There are over 30 players on the team, and 5 coaches...and only 9 players on the field at any given time...but everybody has a job to do, and this team seems to operate as a group. Maybe that's what's making the difference.
