Well that was a fairly productive day

Got the new summer tires and rims put on the little car. Took it for a test drive, and everything is perfect. I love getting a great deal on buying something used! The tires are still a little noisy, but they've got a fairly agressive tread pattern for an all season. Way quieter than the snow tires though. But they handle really well so I'm sure they'll do fine.

And I got the one side of the motorhome cleaned up. Still have lots to do with polishing and touching up on the rest of it though. And I thought of another maintenance item...the rear bumper needs to be repainted. I am sure fortunate that I can do the majority of all this maintenance myself without having to pay someone the labour costs.

While I was doing all this, Ruth was cleaning the add a room. When we took it down last fall, it never did get properly cleaned, and it's a fairly big job. We won't be putting it up until the beginning of May though, when we move into our proper site for the season.

And, she was also busy making roast beef dinner! This is why we don't need to go to restaurants...we eat better at home! And it's waaaay cheaper. I've got it figured that people who go to restaurants all the time simply don't know how to cook. I am sure glad that I married a good cook!

You are a very lucky man, Kevin !!

We are happy to see you had an enjoyable trip, and are now back, safe and sound.

  3. Looks awesome!
It's only 8am but those picture make me hungry right now for that!

You know even some restaurants don't make a meal that good!

  4. Thanks everyone, it was good. We really enjoyed it and were stuffed when we were finished. I figure that meal cost us less than $5 each and that includes the beef, peas, potatoes, flour and egg (for the yorkshire puddings, even the 2 glasses of wine, plus the propane to cook it, but not my time! There's even enough roast beef leftover for Sheppard's Pie and soup.

Trent & Tresea... yes I am going to be workcamping this summer at the KOA. I will work that around any bus tours that I get during the summer.

Wild Blue Yonder... now you know why we don't eat out often.
