Pots and pans

I hate it when you get good stuff and it just falls apart.

The handle on one of our pots began feeling a little loose a few weeks ago. On Tuesday, I was washing the dishes, and it just fell off right in my hand. Now, you could expect this from a cheap set of "made in China" pans that you could just return to Walmart, but this was supposedly good quality kitchenware.

I'm going to have to write the manufacturer to complain about the poor quality, and suggest they extend their warranty period to something a little more meaningfull. After all, if you're going to buy something of quality, you'd expect it to last.

So, Mom and Dad, next time you buy a set of Lagostina cookware for someone's wedding present, you should think twice and reconsider your options. For the handle to fall off after only 26 years is simply unacceptable.

  3. Hahaha I got a kick out of this, I at first thought it was something you just bought. Jope Whiskey is doing better. Rigg's is back to his old self and eating his two bowls a day. Thanks for your concern. Be safe out there. Sam & Donna.

  4. Got a chuckle from your post. Ron's parents clock stopped working on their 25th wedding anniversary. Told the friends who bought it they should have bought a better clock.

Hope you are having a good day.

  5. Kevin emailed the company just for a laugh. They got back to us and said that this pot has a life time warranty and to send it off to their warehouse outside of Montreal for warrenty replacement.

What a GREAT company Lagostina is to stand by their product even after 26 years of everyday use!

Sam, Donna and Rigg's...Whiskey is doing fine, had a great hike today and is eating more food. Still being picky though.

Karen and Steve...We love that picture too! That area is British Columbia is very beautiful, actually all of BC is beautiful!
