Arrived in Halifax, NS

Well that was an early morning. I was up at 4:30am, had some tea and cereal and made myself a sandwich for a snack as well as some carrots and grapes to munch on in case I get hungry. I have to think of these thing now, because it isn't so easy to just grab something now that I can't have gluten.

I woke Kevin up just before 5:15am and we headed out the door and arrived at the airport at 5:35. They were just about to board so I had enough time to say goodbye to Kevin and I was on my way. The plane was a small turbo prop plane that had seating for 37 passengers and it was an almost full plane which left on time at 6:00am

Arrived in Toronto at 7am to rain. Found my gate for my departure flight to Halifax which was leaving at 8am, again it left on time and again in the rain, not so nice in Toronto but in Halifax it is suppose to be nice and sunny.

A nice rainy morning in Toronto, looking out of my airplane window

Toronto Pearson Airport from my plane

I think it is pretty neat that most airports now have wifi, not that I had anytime to really use it.  I got on and was on for a few minutes and then they started boarding.  I think this was one of the most efficent days I have ever had flying.  No delays, no problems...gotta to love that.

Again my flight to Halifax arrived on time and Lindsey was waiting outside to pick me up.

We had an hour and a half drive to her place in Kentville where we stoppped to get some groceries.

Spent the afternoon chatting and having a some Mum and daughter time together.  Later we went to pick up Justin from work and then Lindsey made a great meal of mussels (5lbs of them) along with rice and cauliflower.

Now we are just sitting back relaxing and watching some TV.  Going to go do some wine tasting tomorrow along with a cheese factory.
