Lol...well now that you have asked that question, LOTS! First off we would like to say thank you to everyone who commented on Whiskey and expressed concern for her. Well she is bouncing back AGAIN.
I tell you it is hard to believe she is 14 1/2 years old and just had one major operation and another minor one in just two weeks. Today we are doing our best to keep her settled down. When I walked her today she had a nice prance in her step. Much better than the last two days. I think the next week and and a half will be work on our part to keep her quiet!
The campground has really slowed down and I'm not working as many hours. The RV place wants Kevin there full days, so I am doing his driving job in the afternoons now and working Friday mornings, Saturday and Sunday at the campground. I switched shifts and worked today instead of tomorrow because the guy who normally does the morning courier run isn't able to, so tomorrow I am doing the courier run both morning and afternoon.
After work on Sunday, Kevin and I are going to go to Ottawa and have Thanksgiving dinner with his family at his sister, Elaine's place and spend the night at his parents house and on Monday we both have the day off, only our third together since the beginning of May. We'll spend some more time at his parents and then stop to see some friends.
Thursday, Oct. 14, I am going to fly to Halifax, NS and visit with Lindsey and Justin for a few days then head back here on Sunday. I'll just miss Kevin that day because I will arrive back about 9:30am but he will have left early in the morning with a co-worker in the company truck to Middlebury, Indiana for a customer service course that Jayco is putting on. Kevin will return from that Thursday, Oct. 21 and I think he will go into work on the Friday and Saturday only if he absolutely has to. So much for getting all those jobs done to Sherman before leaving! Oh well...lots of time to do them on the road!
Glad to hear Whiskey is doing well.

ReplyDeleteSo glad to hear that Whiskey is doing so much better.
ReplyDeleteThank you again everyone for your well wishes for Whiskey. We are keeping our fingers crossed this time that nothing else will happen. We are being so careful with her.
ReplyDeletePidge...The header picture on today's post was on part of the Palmetto Trail near the Cross Generating Station, Cross, SC this past March.
Rick and Paulette...Thanks, we love that picture. Kevin's sister liked it so much she got us to send her the image and then had it enlarged and framed for her place.
Sam and Donna...Safe travels for you too Sam. Hope your drive and visit with your sister in PA goes well. I am sure she appreciates you coming to help her out.
