Not a bad month! We spent a total of $1,550 for the month, and that included going to the dentist!
Fuel: $245.06
Toll Roads: $93.21
Propane: $33.34
Groceries: $294.42
Booze: $81.31
Overnight: $248.52
Entertainment: $180.78
Motorhome Expenses: $0
Fuel expense was a lot lower, and it will be for January and February as well. In fact, I'm going to put in 1000 pesos ($83) worth tomorrow, and that will probably do us for the month of January. Not planning on doing much driving this month!
But we did take quite a few toll roads, and they are expensive. Well worth it in certain situations to save on fuel, and wear and tear...on both me and Sherman!
Propane filled up...should last until February.
Grocery expenses were lower. I think all that stocking up we did in Laredo is starting to pay off.
Booze expenses were lower. I was sick for the last week, so wasn't doing any drinking...plus we had stocked up on wine in last months expenses.
Overnight expenses were way too high, mostly because of the park in Acapulco that we stayed at. That won't be happening again, so we'll try and cut back in January.
Entertainment was also a little higher than normal...we try and stay around $100 a month for entertainment, and that includes meals out. However we also decided this year to splurge a little more on daily activities than we have in the past. You only live one time, right?!
On the income side of things, Adsense was pretty good to us in December. In fact, I think it was our second best month ever, coming in at $103.21. We're also getting more visitors to the site, averaging around 300 unique visitors per day. So the more visitors, the more people visiting the advertisers. All Google ads are prescreened for viruses so if you see an ad that interests you, you can visit it without any problem. Then just click your browsers "back" button to return to our site. Thank you all for following along, we enjoy telling you of our daily activities!
Happy New Year From Southern California.
ReplyDeleteDon't forget to watch the 122nd Rose Parade on New Year's Day coming from Pasadena, California...only 30 miles from The Old Geezer's home :-) If you miss the live telecast, I'm sure there will be lots of reruns through out the day.

Ron...Would love to watch the Rose Bowl Parade, but we don't have TV and where we are right now we don't have access to unlimited internet. It is definitely on my "bucket list" of things to see, and one day we will see it live.
ReplyDeleteHope 2011 shapes up to be a great year for you.
