Whiskey doesn’t seem to enjoy long walks anymore. Almost have to drag her along. Or maybe because it’s warm, but that’s why we try and go in the morning before it gets too hot. Or maybe because she’s getting old. She seems to enjoy just lying in the sand. I think we’ll just take her for a short walk in the morning and leave her with Sherman while we go for a longer one.
The far end of the beach. There are no building codes in Zipolite, so anything goes.
Sherman is parked in behind this brown building
We sat under a palapa and did some reading and stared at the ocean. There were some pretty big waves crashing in. Never did go in the water. They have a red flag advisory when the undertow is too strong, so not many people in the water today.
Never made it over to the two RV parks today either. Maybe I’ll get ambitious and get on the bike tomorrow.
Just sounds like one of those lazy days , the heat may be slowing Whiskey down, shew will let you know when she feels like a walk. Be safe out there. Sam & Donna...
ReplyDeleteThose beaches look fantastic!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness your new header pic is just too much for us to bear! It looks soooo inviting and comfortable. Why do you tease us like that?

I love days like that, when you just sit, relax and have an introspective day watching the waves or reading a good book.
ReplyDeleteCheers!
Sam and Donna...You are right about Whiskey letting us know when to go for a walk. Only took her for a short one today and she was much happier, but she is being picky with her food again and not wanting to eat.
ReplyDeleteRick and Paulette...They are!
Karen and Steve...Sorry, but what else can we take a picture of?
WBY..Hard to concentrate a book though, we are constantly looking up to watch the waves.

Think you have ended up at the first place we stopped at. Still reckon Zipolite was our favorite spot in Mexico and would return in the future. Glad you got back there.
ReplyDeleteWas it called La Habana ?
ReplyDeleteSteve and Glen...Not sure if it was called La Habana, didn't really see a name. Remember where we were parked in the driveway of the white hotel beside you (to the left of the field you were in)? Well this place was one building to the left of the white hotel. We really like it there too.
