It was only a 65 km (40 mile) drive to our spot in Barra de Colotopec just outside of Puerto Escondido, but it took us an hour and forty minutes.
Chicken and babies outside our front door
So we are parked up at our Mexican friends Mary and Alfredo and Natalia. Ruth did some reading in the morning while I had some internet time, and then we took Whiskey for a walk to the beach. We’re about a 20 minute walk from the coast, but the beach at this location is largely undeveloped because it wouldn’t be very good for swimming.
Lots of greenery beside the river in Barra de Colotepec
The undeveloped beach here goes as far as the eye can see
in both directions!
Very peaceful tho! We love reading your blog and being able see and hear about the many beautiful unknown peaceful areas of Mexico - so different from the border area here near TX.
ReplyDeleteWow... what a great beach!
