It turned into a rainy Sunday here in Ottawa, but it was a great day anyhow. I sold the snow rubber and rims that were taking up the back seat of our little car. We don't plan on ever having to use snows again, and I didn't want to have them in the car while driving back to Nova Scotia later this week.
Late Sunday afternoon, I went to one of my best friends houses for a get together with a group of guys that I've known since I was 16 years old. We all worked in the late 70's at a family summer camp called Red Pine Camp.
We see each other occasionally on a one to one basis, but it's pretty rare that we're all together at the same time. We were actually only missing one in the group, a fellow who now lives in Calgary, Alberta. We've been friends for 33 years now, and whenever we get together it's as if no time has passed at all. We shared a lot of laughs and had a great evening! Sure missed not having Ruth there, but a couple of the other guys showed up without their wives, so it wasn't like I was the only one.
always fun to get together with old friends, its nice to keep in touch.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a fun time, and I bet you all reverted back to your boyish antics and silliness. (probably bathroom humor too?)

ReplyDeleteKaren and Steve...No doubt they did.
pidge...Definitely!
Sam and Donna...Seeing it was a Sunday night and they had to drive, I'm sure a 30 pack would do them. If that was a cooler Sam, that would have been a big one.
Kenny and Angela...You got that right!
