Highlights of our trip south

When you're essentially on the road in an RV for about five months, there can be a lot of different opportunities for memories. On this past trip, the longest we stayed in one spot was nine days. So because we move around a lot, we manage to see and do a lot if interesting things!

Number one memory from near the start of our trip has to be the Wild Cave Tour at Mammoth Cave National Park in Kentucky. At 49, we were the oldest people in our group, although one of the guides was older than us and does this almost every day. A very strenuous, yet very fun day!

Next up was the Monarch Butterfly Sanctuary at El Rosario, near the city or Morelia in Mexico. This is one of those things that should be on everybody's list of things to see in their lifetime. Absolutely stunning to see these thousands of butterflies all in one beautiful location.

Sailing in Valle de Bravo. Besides the fact that Valle de Bravo is such a cool little town, we got enjoy it with Santiago and his family. This place is not on the radar of many who RV in Mexico, but it should be.

Trying to break a pinata on Christmas Eve. We spent Christmas Eve in a small Mexican village and were welcomed to participate in the activities. What a great experience!

Dinner with a bunch of Mexican cowboys. We were invited to a fiesta where we also saw a calf being born. This whole day was one to remember...

Mojo...I think my best experience was at Hacienda Contreras in Valle de Juarz. I got to go on lots of fun hikes and the weather was perfect for me, not as hot as when we at the beach. Whiskey
