Galetta, Ontario

Well it was an early morning yesterday, up at 4:45am had a tea/coffee and a bowl of cereal and out the door at 5:30am on our way to the airport.  Very foggy that morning but no problems as it was dawn so we had some light.

My flight left on time and within two hours I was back in Ottawa.  As it was rush hour I told my Dad that I would take the city bus ($3.25CAN, these sure aren't Mexican prices!) to Kevin's Mom's place in the west end and then Dad would pick me up around 11am.  I had a nice little visit with Kevin's Mom, it was nice to see her again.

As I have a gluten intolerence I needed to stop by a couple of stores before leaving Ottawa to buy some gluten free flours and products so I have stuff to eat at my Dad's, after that it was a half hour ride or so to his place.

Had a late lunch then went for a walk in a nearby bush.  It was nice to spend some time with my Dad again and we had a great walk with the sun peaking out a little and it was warm enough that I just need my fleece jacket on but as we were walking it decided to spit a bit, nothing much luckily.  The mosquitoes were starting to come out and if yesterday was any indication this spring will be BAD with them because of all the moisture.  I'll take them over the rain though!

When we got back I made a loaf of gluten free bread and then we had some spagetti and sauce for supper with fresh raspberries and ice cream for dessert, yummmm.

This morning, guess what I wake up too?  More rain, I think I must be a magnet for the rain, it just follows me everywhere.  At least Kevin had a nice day yesterday and sounds like he will get another one today.

Today, I will do some baking for my Dad. Hoping to go for a walk too but I guess that will depend on the weather.

This is the second post for today so make sure you didn't miss Kevin's earlier post.  Just click on the previous post to view it.
