Walk in the forest

Yesterday turned out better than they said it would be, and although it was overcast most of the day, it didn’t rain like they said it would.

So we went for a walk in the forest with Angela and their dog Meeya. And then Lindsey and Cameron came for lunch, and we went for another walk in the afternoon.

They have lots of trails on their property!

Meeya likes the water

Things are getting green...imagine if the sun actually came out for a day or two!

This boardwalk is like a roller coaster!

After dinner, we were invited into the house and chatted with Angela. Glenn is currently mountain biking in Colorado with his brother, and he doesn’t return until Tuesday or Wednesday.

I’ve been doing some research into the price of milk here in Nova Scotia. Check back later today, because it’s worthy of a post all on it’s own!

  4. The forest looks very green and thick. Your photos remind me of Maine or our own Adirondacks here in NYS. The trail looks good too, seems to have been dry, at least for a little while. Raining here this morning and I think its going to stay wet most of the upcoming week.

  6. Good thing I'm not a big milk drinker. We probably go through a 2 litre in the time it takes to expire.

    I like water better anyway.

But the price of gas? Don't get me started!!!!

Looks like a nice nature walk. So pretty out there.
Have to mark that one down for a visit.

    Cheers!

  9. George and Suzie...It was raining by night time though.

    Malone...Thank you.

Sam and Donna...Our son likes his milk too. I am glad we don't have to buy milk for him here we would have to take out a loan.

John and Ellen...They have great trails in their bush but they weren't dry. In many places it was very wet and muddy.

Kenny and Angela...It is a beautiful corner of the world.

Life's a Journery...We don't actually drink glasses of milk it is for coffee, tea, and cereal as well as baking.

These great trails are actually on Angela and Glenn's property, he makes them and uses them for biking on and walking the dog.

Janie and John...When the sun comes out it will look spectacular.

Contessa...Yes, they are. Glenn made all the trails and built all the bridges. They have 50 acres so there are quite a few trails for him to mountain bike on as well as walking their dog.
