For such a short trail, it's actually a pleasant hike that follows MacIntosh Brook up to a small waterfall. You can walk a loop that follows the brook on one side, and coming back on the other side.
Waterfall at the end of the trail
There is a small camping area at the entrance to the trail. However they want $21.50 to camp here, and don't forget your $7.80 per adult day use fee on top of that.
No wonder the campground doesn't look very full. Why is it so expensive? This would be a trail that I could walk. Jim still couldn't make it, but I'm pretty sure I could. Love the waterfall.
ReplyDeleteJim and Sandie...Probably because the government is involved. The campground is more geared to tenters and really not the nicest, it's right next to the road. The trail itself is quite easy, the right hand side being more maintained than the left hand side.
