Pleasant Bay (day 2)

Well yesterday started out drizzly and cold and it didn't get any better until the sun went down! In fact, we didn't see the sun all day until 10 minutes before it set.

So we did nothing all day. We have wifi internet access from a nearby motel, so spent much of the day at the computer. The temperature outside never went much above 10C (50F) and it was overcast and windy. A good day to stay inside.

But today is starting out better. It's still cool, and a forecast high of only 13C (56F) but at least the sky is fairly blue. We think we'll leave here and head towards Meat Cove, the most remote northern community in Nova Scotia. There are a couple of hiking spots along the way, so who knows where we'll end up.

Have a great Saturday!

  1. Hope you have a better day today. We got a little rain overnights to break a 5 day hot spell only supposed to be in the 80's today. Be safe out there. Sam & Donna...

  2. I can handle (sort of) the 50 degrees if the sun is shining brightly. But I so much prefer 70's and 80's. We're hopefully going to have those 70's this week. But unsettled weather means "who knows". Hope you find more sunshine today.

  5. There is a big difference in 50 with sun and 50 without. The sun just makes it all feel better. Hope the weather continues to improve.

  7. Sam and Donna...We did have a better day, thanks Sam.

Jim and Sandie...70's and 80's are our kind of temperatures. The way the weather is going, I'm not sure we will see temps like that this summer.

Sue and Doug...It's been out for the last two days, a nice change.

    Life's a Journey...I think you must.

Jamie and John...Not only does it make it feel a bit better but it also makes the scenery look much better.

    Gypssy Boho...Thank you!
