Yesterday we caught the 11:00am bus back to Tepic. This time, we did manage to get the cheaper bus at 220 pesos ($17.16) each. And, it was a nicer bus! Watched a Steve Martin movie en Espanol, and the trip was uneventful.
We walked from the Tepic bus station to the big Ley grocery store nearby and bought supplies for the next couple of weeks because we plan on being by the ocean and we probably won't be near another big store until Puerto Vallarta. Then we took a taxi back to Sherman where he was waiting for us all safe and sound.
We had made a deal with the RV park here in Tepic for 100 pesos a night with no hookups, and 50 pesos per night while we were in Mazatlan, so we paid our 550 peso ($42.90) bill and we will be heading out early this morning to go to the coast.
safe travels as you head towards the ocean!!!!

ReplyDeleteFood is important!! Glad Sherman was safe, always a big decision to leave your RV like that. Looking forward to hearing about your first stop.
ReplyDeleteYep, the only water we are seeing is what is falling and holding up getting our roof finished. Look's like Paul & Helen and the 3 girls made it to the ocean. Hope you guys meet up someplace.Be safe out there. Sam & Donna...
