Valle de Bravo (day 2)

We didn't do very much yesterday, just relaxed, although Ruth did a little bit of hand laundry. She says that if the choice is doing laundry by hand, or going back to Canada, she is quite happy to do laundry by hand!

We are not at an actual campground, we are at an embarcadero which is essentially a marina. We don't have services, but the owner would run a 15 amp cord if need be. We also have access to water and washrooms, so although there is no dump station we don't really need one for the couple or three weeks that we'll be here. We are at GPS 19.22465 -100.13935

The owner is a fellow named Chago, and last time we were here we became good friends with him and his family. We had such a good time, and that's why we returned. Besides, it's absolutely beautiful here. Last time, we paid 100 pesos ($8.00) per night to camp here, and I would expect it will be the same this time. We're going to leave Sherman here for a few days while we go to visit Mexico City probably next week.

Temperatures here are perfect, about 23C (74F) during the day, and 12C (55F) at night.

  4. Looks like a really good spot to stay for a few weeks. I always search out Marinas that have RV parking. I enjoy being around the water and boats. The very first RV park I went to in my RV was a marina.

  7. What a great looking spot! Sherman looks right at home with his terrific view. Only problem with marinas for us has been the at dawn power boaters going out, coming in, going out, coming in...... all day long especially on week-ends. Hard to relax and enjoy the view. At least for me.
