Doug and Nancy have been following Travel with Kevin and Ruth for years. Finally they decided to take the plunge into Mexico after Doug retired in December of last year, so they hopped into their camper van "Euri" for their first time RV adventure to Mexico.
We weren't expecting them to arrive here until Sunday, and we had already invited Barb and Sal over for a BBQ yesterday, so asked Doug and Nancy to join us as well. We had a feast!

Barb appointed us tour guides to show Doug and Nancy around. So today we'll take them into town and maybe we'll visit the next town that we've never been to. Also, there's a parade later today put on by the local high school. So we'll have some more interesting stuff to report on!
We're glad this website and our travels have been an influence on some people. Doug and Nancy are here because they believed what we have been showing people for the last four years...that RV travel in Mexico is fun, inexpensive, and safe. And now they are experiencing it for themselves!
Keep those votes coming. We should pull into the lead in our category sometime tomorrow afternoon! I keep waiting for the leaders to notice that we're catching up, but their votes have been consistently around 80 per day and we are getting around 200 per day.
Thanks everyone and have a great Friday!
Oh what fun to have more friends with you two. You have also shown us a different side of Mexico. What a beautiful and diverse country.
ReplyDeleteJust love the header photo. Looks so peaceful and inviting.
So nice to meet up with followers and be able to show them around! Have fun.
ReplyDeleteIt's great to see folks whose blogs I follow meet up. It's like an online reunion. Have a great time! They seems like a fun, fun couple.
ReplyDeleteI've been following a blog of a a family of four living on a 50' yacht in Mexico and they're doing it for about $800/month. And with two teenagers that eat like there's no tomorrow. BUT, it looks as though they don't buy booze very much.
ReplyDelete$800/month is great, especially with 2 teenagers. I bet they eat a lot of fish that they can catch from the yacht.
DeleteJust discovered your blog and have read several back posts. Very enjoyable! Thank you!
ReplyDeleteHope you enjoy our adventures and thank you for taking the time to comment.

ReplyDeleteGreat you caught up with some friends. Have clocked in another two votes!
ReplyDeleteThank you Paul!
DeleteAnother vote from Mr. Anonymous. Keep up your efforts outlining the beauty of Mexico and its people. We need more positives to outweigh the negatives that the media has created.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your vote and for your comment. We are certainly trying to show Mexico as the wonderful country it really is.
