So we've been having great weather here in the Ottawa valley, but of course on moving day that has to change. So we brought some tarps with us and headed down to Ottawa in Ruth's dad's pickup truck. It actually went okay, but it did drizzle with rain. Moving is never fun, but at least if you're moving into a bachelor apartment you can't have that much stuff! So after a couple of loads in the pickup truck, we were done.
Nice place, in a fantastic neighbourhood within walking distance to everything downtown.
And then, we went to visit some old friends. I worked at a summer camp with a bunch of guys when I was 16 years old, and we still get together as often as possible. One of the group lives and works in Calgary, so he doesn't make it to these events very often, but everyone else was there so it was a lot of fun visiting.

And we had some good news regarding our trip to England. It turns out that we'll be profiling both Sunwing Airlines and our luggage sponsor at Heys International. So some exiting travel news coming up in the next little while!

So, good news on multiple fronts. Son moves with two truck loads. Didn't rain (too much) and you didn't have to pay his rent! Even better.

mattress on the floor, under the pile of dirty clothes, raking up the green and gold shag carpet and finding a rabbit, missing back-door, pizza on the ceiling!!!!
