Off to the pub!

We had only been in London for a few hours when Ruth's aunt and uncle suggested we go for a walk and stop in at the pub. So that's what we did!

We walked through a fairly ritzy part of town, and saw a few nice cars parked up.

This Maserati looked sharp!

We stopped in at the Marquess Tavern for a pint of refreshment!

Ruth, Nice, Philip, Kevin.

Had a drink in the pub, and then walked back and had a late dinner. Actually stayed up until 11:00pm or so out time, but of course our bodies felt that was only 6:00pm. No worries, fell asleep right away and didn't get up until 8:00am this morning!

I notice our blog postings aren't being done on a normal schedule either, so make sure you didn't miss a posting earlier or later in the day. I can see that there are going to be some days where we will be doing more than one post per day if we are having a busy day!

  5. Great architecture on that pub. What could be more "English" than a visit to the pub.
