I did spend a few minutes going over a possible route with Derek and Teresa. Kind of looks like they are going to do a similar route to us, but in reverse, with them headed towards the city of Oaxaca first and then coming to the coast to head north back up the Pacific. Whereas we are headed to the coast and then south on the Pacific before (maybe going to Guatemala and then) heading inland to the city of Oaxaca. So hopefully we'll bump into them again at some point this winter.
Only one more week here at Hacienda Contreras and it's going to go by quickly! Still a few chores I need to get done to the little blue car, as well as getting Chris and Jaun's solar panel wired and installed for them.
Looking forward to getting to our next destination at Valle de Bravo and seeing all of the friends we met last time we were there. And learning more Spanish! It's all fine and dandy spending time with the other campers here at Hacienda Contreras, but it's not conducive to improving our Spanish. When we are at Valle de Bravo, we are forced to use Spanish.
Can you see why we love Valle de Bravo?
Time to go do our morning power walk...enjoy your day everyone!
I cannot look at that header photo. It is making me very sick. it. It is 28 here with 6-12" of snow on its way...yuck. Thank goodness Paul got out of here this morning. Hope I have such good luck tomorrow at 2. Enjoy that beautiful weather.
