And, it was warm enough to build a snowman!
Sadie is a happy girl, and she sure does love her food!
Sadie has bed head. Too funny.
Cameron is good at puzzles. He did this one almost all by himself!
While it was snowing, we watched a movie. "Cars", the animated feature from 2006. It was pretty good and we all enjoyed it.
Then after lunch it was nice enough to go out and play in the fresh snow.
Fresh snowfall in the valley.
Ruth and Cameron. He's king of the castle!
Sadie, always smiling.
Grandpa and Sadie.
Cameron named the snowman Frank.
The kids had fun on the little hill.
The Annapolis Valley.
It's hard to believe that we were here exploring in the motorhome four years ago at this time. There was no snow at all on the ground at all back then, but it was still chilly because I remember how much propane we went through.
Today, we're off to Roos Playhouse...should be fun!

Haven't talked to my brother down in the valley for a week or so. He was running out of places to pile the snow around their place. Just nuts!
ReplyDeleteHopefully that is it for now, at least we hope it is! ;-)
DeleteIt is fun to play in the snow with the little ones.
ReplyDeleteThat snow man does look like a Frank too.
It is especially when the weather was a beautiful as it was that day!
DeleteMy dad used to make me little igloos like that in Boston when I was a little tyke. Your grands are adorable!
ReplyDeleteI remember make a ton of tunnels when I was little. I think Cameron and Sadie's dad has tried making an igloo for them one time.
DeleteThey are adorable aren't they, thanks Emily!
Oh what fun - great pics!!! What do the grands call you - just wondering? We were Gram and Papa for twenty something years. Along came the last grand, now four years old, and it's Mammaw and Papa!!!
ReplyDeleteThey call us Grandma and Grandpa and then their other grandparents they call are Grampy, Popa and Nana. That way when Lindsey and Justin talk to them they know which grandparents they are talking about.
DeleteAhhhh, that's sweet!
DeleteLove seeing pics of you two with Cameron and Sadie...too precious. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteThanks Dianne, we are loving our time with them and we will look back of these memories with lots of fondness.
DeleteWhat fun...haven't lost your snowman building skills....
ReplyDeleteI think Kevin and Cameron did a great job on Frank!
DeleteWhy did Cameron name the snowman "Frank"? Just curious. I need to be a good boy and not complain about the weather in northern Mexico when it dips down to 0C for a few hours :)
ReplyDeleteNo idea Chris but apparently he loves the name Frank at the moment!
DeleteNice snowman! Hope that's the last one you build for a loooong time! :cD
ReplyDeleteI am pretty sure that Kevin is thinking the same thing too!
DeleteGreat snowman! I can really appreciate it from afar:)
ReplyDeleteI am sure that you can! ;-)
DeleteWe had an unusual spring snowstorm in the Sierra Nevada foothills last Tuesday. My husband had never built a snowman, but he rectified that omission Tuesday afternoon! http://intrepid-decrepit-travelers.blogspot.com/2015/04/holy-spring-snowstorm-batman-tuesday.html
ReplyDeleteNice to stroke those types of things off "the bucket list"! ;-)
DeleteKevin and Cameron's snowman has totally melted away. Yesterday evening the head rolled off and later in the evening the middle section of his body toppled over and by mid afternoon today there was nothing left of him. Nice to know the warm weather has finely showed up here on the East Coast! :-)
