Family time

When we landed at Ottawa airport yesterday around 1:00pm, our daughter Lindsey was there to meet us, along wth our grandkids Cameron and Sadie!

Great to see them again!

We drove from the airport to my Mom's apartment where we visited with her for a couple of hours.

Went outside to the park with the kids.

Didn't notice much change in Cameron (4 1/2) since we last saw them in April.

But Sadie (2) seems to have gone from a baby to a little girl since the last time we saw her!

Happy Grandma!

From there, we had a 45 minute drive up to Ruth's dad's place. Houseful of people because Ruth's sister and her daughter and grandson are visiting as well. Ruth is going to be staying here for the weekend, but I'm heading to a cottage weekend away with the boys...a group of friends of mine who have all known each other since we were 16 years old. Good times, and I'm sure a couple of beers are ahead!

Cameron, in his superhero pajamas.

Ruth, with her niece's son Dominic (6 mos).
