We enjoyed our first drive in the motorhome yesterday to Moose Jaw. A little late leaving, we were shooting for 9:00am, but didn't get out of the park until around 10:00am. We made a quick stop in Cabri to drop off the keys, and then hit the road.
Stopped in Swift Current to buy Sherman some new front curtains. They were blackout and thermal material on sale for $15, and we needed three panels. So $45, plus we'll have to get a Mexican seamstress to do some alterations to them, but they're going to be great for stealth boondocking!
Then, it was an uneventful drive to Moose Jaw. Sherman performed flawlessly and we were so happy to be back on the road!
Ruth, relaxing on the road!
Kevin, happy to be back on the road!
Snow?
Nope. It's actually a salt mine.
Wendy and Phil met us at his farm where we could park Sherman for a few days while we're in Ottawa. Had a great dinner with them, as well as friends Jim and Gail. We were all pretty tired though, so we called it an early night because we were up at 4:15am for our drive to the airport! Forgot to get a pic of us all!
Thanks for having us Wendy and Phil...you're the best!
Happy to be traveling again!!
