And we heard from our friend Chris over at Living and Boondocking in Mexico who said that you can stay overnight in the parking lot of the municipal auditorium there, so we're going to check that out since it's located very close to downtown.
Another quiet day for us here. We did manage to go out for a short walk around the fairly large property.
Ruth with momma beagle. This is the mother of the little pup "Barney" that we showed you the other day.
Ruth, out in the back of the property here.
Played some more backgammon yesterday afternoon. For those who aren't familiar, each player rolls two dice. It is usually good when you get doubles, and the higher the doubles the better. So double sixes is a good roll, most of the time.
I rolled double sixes, and right after that Ruth rolled double sixes. Then we each did that again! Unheard of to get that many doubles in a row, and to have it happen to both of us. Too strange.
Not Ruth's lucky day though, and I won most of the games.
Heading out soon and have to get Sherman ready to go. Have a great day!

Rescue tape is on sale. If you don't have this in your RV tool box, you should!
Also available in Canada but at a much higher price...
Safe travels! Enjoy the ice cream.
ReplyDeleteThanks Peter, we will!
DeleteHaven't played backgammon in years. Used to compete to see who did the dishes. Then we bought a dishwasher.
ReplyDeleteWe love the game and keep an ongoing tally for the entire year. Kevin is almost always ahead of me. So far this year I have been doing a better job of staying much closer to his score.
DeleteBetter watch out she might quit playing with you :) What a cute puppy!
ReplyDeleteNo, I won't quit playing, I will just try that much harder to win!
DeleteThe "puppy" above is actually the mommy! She is pretty small though but really sweet and so are here remaining puppies.
It would be fun to adopt little Barney. He would be a good traveling companion.
ReplyDeleteBarney was the puppy in the post from the other day and he has already been adopted by friends of ours in Valle de Juarez so we will see him again at the end of February or so. The one above is his mommy, although she still has a couple of puppies left that haven't been adopted yet but we will not be getting one. We will just enjoy them while we are here.
