So I'm driving to Regina airport this morning to drop off Lindsey and the kids, and then I've got about two hours to waste before Tana and Graham's flight arrives and then I'll bring them back to the park for Sherman.
I've never been to "downtown" Regina (pop 225,000), so I'll probably make use of those two hours to go for a tour.
A couple of last minute things to do this morning to get Sherman ready. I took out the carpet yesterday and powerwashed it, so it's all nice and clean. It dried overnight so now I have to install it. Then, a final cleanup and he's ready to go.
I accidentally left the camera on B&W setting. Not bad!
Remember the days when the only pictures you took were in black and white? Color film was too expensive!
Anyhow...things to do so gotta get going! Have a great Wednesday!

A fantastic one day deal on a popular and highly rated men's razor. Just in time for Father's Day, at a great price!
And a great B&W is beautiful. I'd say you have a keeper there.
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteI love a good b&W shot - great picture!
ReplyDeleteYes, some just stand out when they are black and white. Thanks!
DeleteGood timing with the Airport flights.
ReplyDeleteExcellent B&W pic too.
Yes, it worked out wonderfully, except that Tana and Graham's flight was an hour late but it was still all good other than Kevin having such a long day.
DeleteI spent six hours wandering the streets of Regina once. A nice town in summer... B&W photos are timeless.
ReplyDeleteIt's a small city so it doesn't take to long to see it and it was relatively close to the airport which was nice.
DeleteYou could enter this photo in a travel magazine...the enormous trees and a tiny little girl. Beautiful shot.
ReplyDeleteThank you Rita!
DeleteIt must be suddenly lonely being 'empty nesters', with the grandkids and soon Sherman all enjoying new adventures without you :) That B&W looks great! Ansel Adams made a living doing B&W - very powerful messages.
ReplyDeleteIt is so quiet here this morning, it is unbelievable! We miss them so much already, good thing that we will be seeing them again just over three and a half months.
DeleteSomehow I don't think Kevin will be able to make a living this way. His pictures are good but there are others out there that are even better.
Glad you didn't have to make that trip twice!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely!
