Fireworks at the park!

One of our seasonal camper families likes to put on a fireworks show for the park, and last night was the night.

They go around earlier in the season and collect donations from anybody who wants to give to the fireworks fund, and with the total money collected they put on quite a show!

With our water so low, we have a big beach area to use for the display. They had all the fireworks prearranged on boards and so it didn't take them long to get set up. Then when it was sufficiently dark at around 10:30pm, the show began...

I can't believe how clear I got this shot with a one second exposure time.

This one didn't come out so clear. At times, the guys lighting the fireworks looked like they were on fire themselves!

Grand finale!

Bacon bandages? Who thinks up this stuff? Too funny...

    1. Yes, community spirit makes such a difference and we are so lucky to have such a great one here in rural Cabri, Saskatchewan. Sounds like your area also has community spirit as well.

  6. Yep, a definitely time waster! I can't get over the amount of comments on the products and how much time people spend thinking them up, some of them are hilarious!
