Ruth's flower gardens

Ruth's mother was an avid gardener, and she loved her flowers. Some of that enthusiasm was passed down to Ruth, and when we owned a house Ruth spent a lot of time working on her flowers.

When we arrived here at the park, there weren't many flowers around and Ruth set about to change that!

Here's what the garden in front of our house trailer looked like when we arrived in May of 2014...

Yikes!

Today!

And, she set out to dress up the entrance way a bit...

Two years ago.

Today!

There was an old well and pump that looked like it could be dressed up a little bit...

Two years ago.

Today. That one was a big project!
Most of these are perennials that will come out in bloom next year.

Continuing with our series about strange things for sale on Amazon. A duck carcass press. Apparently works well with rats, possums, and squirrels too!

    2. Thank you Dinah. I do try to keep the little tags from the plants but then they break or get lost. Some of them I know but others just look pretty. ;-)

    1. Thank you! There is still more work to be done on the big bed by the old pump but it is getting there. I mainly need some better soil and more plants to fill it in with. Another year or two and it should be where I want it.
