Roast beef dinner and a campfire

So, I'm with a group of my male friends up at a beautiful cottage for the weekend located in between Smiths Falls and Kingston, Ontario. It was looking to be a nice day, and so 8 out of the 10 of us decided to go for a hike.

We went to the nearby Rock Dunder hiking trail. It's a very popular trail, and of course on a nice fall Saturday it was pretty busy.

We got there about 10:20am.

Out for a hike with the boys.

Fall colors.

Beautiful view.
Except, there was a lineup of people waiting to use this photo spot.

More fall colors.

The "cottage".

We cooked up a big prime rib roast for dinner, with yorkshire pudding and gravy and all the trimmings. It was delicious!

Then, we went outside for a campfire and music. A couple of the guys are pretty good with the guitars, and another brought his keyboard. Turn your volume up...

A bit of a late night, but we all survived and the bacon and sausage and eggs are already being cooked. Another great annual weekend with my friends!

Good time of year to put a leaf blower on sale!

And in Canada, a good deal on a Hoover Bagless Vac...

    1. Yes, it is definitely a gorgeous time of year in this part of the country! I am sure your friends in Kingston would love to hike this trail if they are into hiking and seeing what the area has to offer.

    1. Kevin had a great time with the guys, they always do when they get together. I had a good time as well but we didn't really do much that was blog worthy.

    1. It is really nice up here. I am surprised that you don't make a trip up to this area during your summers in Ontario.
